One Year In: Growing, Learning, and Looking Ahead
This past year has been a whirlwind of creativity, growth, and rewarding moments. As Debs Bespoke Interiors turns one, I’m taking a moment to reflect on how far this journey has come—from launching my business with passion and determination to now seeing a steady flow of work, growing confidence, and a clearer vision for the future.
Growing as a Business
Over the past 12 months, I’ve not only been designing beautiful spaces but also developing the tools and resources to make the client experience even better. From creating free downloadable guides to designing tailored welcome packs for new clients, I’m constantly refining how I work to make the process smoother and more inspiring.
And it’s paying off. Work is now coming in from multiple sources—direct contacts, word of mouth, and platforms like Houzz—all of which reinforce that Debs Bespoke Interiors is building real momentum.
A Year of Achievements
I’m incredibly proud of the projects I’ve had the privilege to work on, each one shaping my journey as a designer:
✅ Two kitchen extensions designed—One completed and another in planning, both transforming family living spaces. ✅ A full ground-floor redesign—From layout to final styling, a rewarding challenge that resulted in a stunning transformation. ✅ Multiple interior design consultations—Helping homeowners bring their visions to life with fresh ideas and practical solutions.
Each of these milestones is more than just a project; they represent the trust my clients place in me, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
Confidence & The Future
A year ago, stepping into this world of interior design felt daunting. Like many new business owners, I had moments of self-doubt. But today, I feel like I’ve truly stepped into my role. My confidence has grown in ways I can’t even describe, and that dreaded ‘imposter syndrome’ is finally fading.
Is my business exactly where I want it to be? Not yet. But for the first time, I have no doubt that it will be. I can see the progress, feel the momentum, and know that exciting things are just around the corner.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey so far—whether as a client, a mentor, or someone cheering from the sidelines. Here’s to another year of designing spaces that truly feel like home!
